Ever since little Shae-Lynne was born she has been unable to keep any kind of milk, fluid or solid in her stomach. She expereinces severe pain and spits it up, day and night. In this book, her mother and grandmother share the story of their many attempts to treat her. With sympathy, they portray how this frustrating and painful situation has affected her life, and that of her family. The book starts with her birth and continues up to the time she is 18 months old. Little Shae-Lynne endures numerous procedures and hospitalizations, including various reflux medications, experiments with different formula, NJ and NG tubes and a button.
